We are in the middle of some interesting and exciting new projects here at GMC

This is our last week of "no rehearsal down time" before all of the cruise ship casts come in for the summer and fall changeovers. We start with the Norwegian JADE cast. This is our first time to remount the JADE, and our first time to work with some of the New York directors and choreographers who originally created the shows. The cast will be here in Nashville for 6 weeks. We're looking forward to working with them!

Our scenic shop is preparing to build a new set for the International Association of Administrative Professionals convention in New Orleans. Andy Childs, the lead singer in "SIXWIRE" (runner up on the TV show "America's Next Great American Band"), will be performing for us at that show.  We're also creating a "Taste of New Orleans" opening theme party where guests will be treated to a musical and culinary sampling of New Orleans' best entertainment and food. Should be big fun!

Curt Wallen is headed out this week to produce a show for Kiwanis International, a large international service organization we work with every year.

I am working with the folks at "l'ete du Vin" to develop a design for their upcoming Grand Auction benefit dinner and wine auction. We're transforming the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel ballroom into a French wine cellar reminiscent of the fine French wineries who will be honored guests at the auction.

Bert Hensley just completed a convention for Backyard Burgers at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Here are a couple of shots from the set we created for that show. Bert also worked with a client to create a VIP hospitality tent at the Bonnaroo Music Festival.

Stayed tuned for more!
