Greetings from Italy! I am still on the Orient Lines' Marco Polo, and today we're in Livorno, Italy, the seaport for Florence and Pisa. The weather is nice, although a little windy. Several of us went into town this morning to pick up some provisions for the cast. I also discovered the confusion over the difference in European clothing sizing versus American sizes. So confusing! Thanks go to Cheryl, our costume person, who helped clarify!

The cast of the Marco Polo did a great job last night with their opening performances of "Hit me with a Hot Note". It was so good to see a full cast again after several months of transition and replacements working into the show. Cheryl (costumes) and Claire (choreographer) have done an excellent job of getting this new cast ready to go. Each cast member is meeting with me today to talk about their experiences here onboard, and to discuss future contracts. It has been fun meeting Byron, Carissa, Ben and Dean, the four new cast members who are joining Dallas, Rochelle, Sarah, and Juliana who've been here for the past 6 months. This is the last cruise in the Med for the Marco Polo. It then moves to South America and Antarctica where it will spend the winter and spring. We wish them all the best for an adventure of a lifetime!

I am eager to get back home to catch up on all the things that have happened this past week. I leave again Monday morning for a corporate show in Bermuda, so this is just a quick pit stop in Nashville. Tomorrow is the long flight home. We're flying through Heathrow, so there is a bit of concern over the inclement weather affect England right now. Hopefully, things will be better tomorrow!
