Today my wife, Ellen, and I had lunch with our good friends David and Karen Holloway, and their long time friends Ricky and Debbie Steiner, from Kentucky. It was great to meet such a nice couple! I knew Ricky already, but it was nice to meet Debbie. What a great couple! We all have kids about the same age, so comparing each others trials and tribulations was fun.
Tonight we watched "Grease - You're the One That I Want" to see if our friends' daughter would make it through this week's competition. Allie Shultz is the daughter of Ken and Rosemary Shultz from here in Nashville. Our families have been friends for many years. Allie barely made it through this week and was rescued by the judges for one more week's competition. Congratulations to Allie and her family. We'll be thinking about you next Sunday night!
