Sunday, March 4

Hey gang! Sorry for the delay in new postings - I just could not seem to find the time these last few days to sit down and catch up on happenings at GMC. So here goes the first posting...

We did our first party on an aircraft carrier! Here are shots of the USS MIDWAY during our USO PARTY for the National Assoc. of Electrical Distributors this past Friday night. The band was "NRG" (pronouned "Energy") from LA. they did a great show and stayed on for dance music afterwards. The flight decks, engine room, and crew quarters were open for tours, and the ship provided docents who gave terrific insights into life on board one of the world's largest military ships. The flight simulators were also open and were enjoyed by some of our more daring guests! Thanks to Kyle and Vanessa of the MIDWAY and Toby at "Velocity AV" for all their help with production logistics. Also, a big high five to GMC's Jim Sheridan for putting all the logistics together for the event!

Jonathan Yeaworth and his son Sean went along to shoot video of interviews and staged scenes to be incorporated into the video elements scheduled for use at NAED's annual meeting in May. We had a great time with the client and the "talent" from NAED's membership. Can't wait to see the final edited versions! Here is a production photo of Sonia Coleman, Director of PR for NAED, and one of the members during an interview. The other is a shot of Jonathan and sean reviewing footage...like father like son!

Jonathan, Sean, Jim and I returned home last night. Glad to be back home again!
